IIFET is currently accepting nominations for the Distinguished Service Award (DSA) — recognizing individuals who have made lasting contributions to the global fisheries and aquaculture community.
About the Award
Since 1994, the DSA has honored individuals who have:

Advanced international collaboration and knowledge exchange on fisheries and aquaculture issues.

Contributed to the theory or application of economics in fisheries, trade, management, or policy.

Strengthened communication and cooperation across professional and national boundaries.
Award Details
The recipient will:

Receive a commemorative plaque and lifetime IIFET membership.

Deliver an address at IIFET 2026 Faroe Islands.
Nomination Guidelines

Submission: Up to 5-page (single-spaced) nomination packet, plus up to 3 supporting documents (e.g., CV, publications, or awards).
