This process helps ensure a fair and objective review.
Eligibility Requirements
See each individual paper award description for specific eligibility requirements. To submit a paper for any IIFET 2026 Best Paper Award:
- Your abstract must be accepted by the IIFET 2026 Scientific Committee for presentation at the conference.
- You must meet all additional eligibility rules listed on the specific paper award information page.
Republication & Proceedings
IIFET does not claim copyright of papers included in the conference proceedings. You may submit your paper to a journal after the conference.
Journal policies on prior publication vary. Most economics journals do not consider non-peer-reviewed conference proceedings to be prior publication. Authors are encouraged to revise their paper after the conference, using feedback received, before submitting it to a journal. Always check the publication policy of the journal you plan to submit to.
